18 Questions With Abigail Clarke That You Definitely Want To Know

Reality TV Star, Abigail Clarke, shot to success after her spectacular appearance as a cast member on TOWIE.

Women Fitness had the wonderful chance to speak to Abi as she talks about her experience with liposuction, diet and workout routine!

Namita Nayyar:

You have left your fans with loss of words by getting full body liposuction and bottom lift done. What led you to do this?

Abigail Clarke:

This was a personal choice of mine. There were parts of my body I wasn’t happy with and it was effecting my wellbeing. We are very lucky how surgically things have advanced so much that we have choices. I was heavily into my health and fitness however, there are some things genetically that cannot be changed via the natural way and after lots of working out this was my last option. Again I cannot stress how I did everything I could through eating well and exercising. For me again personal choice this was my last resort after trying everything through the natural method. 

Namita Nayyar:

Are you satisfied with the results? What would be your advice for someone who wants to follow your footsteps?

Abigail Clarke:

I am so happy. My advice would be to explore every option. Try doing as much as you can through healthy eating and exercise and only resort to surgery if you really are unhappy and it cannot be changed via the natural method. Please be responsible and don’t be influenced by what everyone else is doing. Make sure you are very sure that it’s best for you. I must reiterate survey can really affected the elasticity of your skin and you must continue to work out just as hard to maintain your body. 

Namita Nayyar:

In 2013, you began starring on the hit reality show, TOWIE. How has your experience been on the show?

Abigail Clarke:

I don’t feel I was able to show my true personality and I’ve changed so much now. I was young and now I am a woman and  I’m finding myself more and more every day. It’s been an amazing platform for me and for everyone that’s ever been part of it. 

Namita Nayyar:

Share with us the perks of being a part of a reality TV show.

Abigail Clarke:

It gives you a platform. It’s what you do with your platform. I am setting some amazing goals for 2019 and so excited to share them with you all. 

Namita Nayyar:

Again, we are in absolute awe of your enviably-toned physique, share three components that are a must in your workout regime?

Abigail Clarke:

Healthy eating, self development and squats. Just because I’ve had surgery I still have to maintain what’s been done. It’s not as easy as just get surgery and that’s it. You have to still work out and eat well. Also I’m very heavily into self development and my faith. I read lots. Books like The power and YouTube videos of Tony Robbins really help motivate me. I really believe on starting work on the inside and that shines on the outside. I’m also learning to smile more as I think people find me unapproachable. 

Namita Nayyar:

Food that constitute an essential part of your diet? Foods that are essential plus those that you keep to the minimum?

Abigail Clarke:

I have a wheat allergy so I have to be very careful with my intake of certain foods.

I have to keep some wheat in my diet but lost of foods I eat are from the freeform section and organic section in the supermarkets. Carbs for that reason I keep to a minimum. Foods that are essential are fruits and vegetables, chicken, fish and high fibre snacks like nuts. 

Namita Nayyar:

Your favourite cheat meal(s)?

Abigail Clarke:

Cheese is my guilty pleasure. Anything with halloumi is a big cheat of mine.

Namita Nayyar:

Being an entrepreneur, a reality TV star, model and a popular media personality, what are your 5 tips for working women to stay fit while travelling?

Abigail Clarke:

You tube! There’s so much available online and we always have our phones with us. There is never an excuse. Work out! It helps with your mind to! So many people suffering from anxiety and depression, I suffer with anxiety and for me working out really helps me mentally as well as physically. If you don’t have time HITT workouts I would recommend from the comfort of your living room.

Namita Nayyar:

You decided to go under the knife after being diagnosed with polycystic ovaries. PCOS is becoming extremely common in young girls, what are your tips for its management & prevention?

Abigail Clarke:

I would say try to stay away high processed and high sugar foods. Prepping your meals always helps such as chicken salads or salmon brown rice so it’s easy while at work in the week. Detoxing your body also. Sometimes I will go on a Candida cleanse which restores balance of bacteria back into the body.

Namita Nayyar:

If you had to choose five spring makeup trends that you love, what would they be?

Abigail Clarke:

I am currently training at Stella Chase Make Up Academy and by the summer hope to be ready to share my talents in master classes up and down the country. Which is another exciting and exclusive venture. I have always been passionate about make up and my five trends for this summer would be. 

Metallics I am really in to. The navy blue eye trend is perfect for all year round.

I really love the high pigment lip popping colours for spring.

I am still into the urban decay naked heat eye palettes are Amazing  lush colours. 

You can’t go wrong with a natural staple nude lip for a everyday subtle glam. My go to is Faux from Mac and super glossy skin with a pink or golden highlight on your cheek and brow bones to really lift your skin into the spring summer months.

Namita Nayyar:

With many cases being reported of #MeToo being, what is your take on this? How would you react to a difficult situation that arises at work?

Abigail Clarke:

Unfortunately in any industry there are predators. It is absolutely heartbreaking hearing all these stories and my love and empathy go to anyone that’s ever been the victim in situations like these. Speak up! Make sure you talk to someone and get help.

Abigail Clarke:

Women Fitness ethos is all about celebrating your mind, body and soul. Many people think fitness is just about your body but I really encourage women to build not just there outward appearance but there mental and spiritual well-being which is just as important.

Namita Nayyar:

What is your skincare and hair care routine like:

Abigail Clarke:
  • after a hard workout?

My makeup is very minimal for the gym so my go to product is Johnsons baby wipes. They are quick and easy and take off all makeup making you feel really fresh when you’re on the go.

  • before going to bed?

I use simple Facial wash and a swipe over again with the Johnson wet wipes for any excess makeup and Nivea face cream. 

The hair products I use are tresemme. I have the best hair extensions that I can’t live without from Roselle hair! They keep my hair looking wavy thick and long all year round!

5 tips to stay fit while travelling?

  • Swim 
  • Use your phone for workouts 
  • Start the day with a big healthy breakfast 
  • Snack on fruit 
  • Use exploring to your advantage by walking lots and taking the stairs instead of lifts.

Being a social media influencer, share 3 things that you absolutely love about this platform?

Abigail Clarke:

Being able to be directly interactive with fans. Instagram is such an amazing platform that allows you that direct contact with people from all over the world.
