Gracie Hans is an exceptionally talented Brazilian Model. Her vital statistics are Height: 1.77, Bust: 84, Waist: 61 and Hip: 90.
Women Fitness President Ms. Namita Nayyar catches up with Gracie Hans, a Brazilian Model, and here she talks about her workout, diet, and her routine during the ‘pandemic’.
Namita Nayyar:
A morning ritual that you like to follow every single day?
Gracie Hans:
I wake up, clean and moisturize my face. All my products are on prescription provided by my dermatologist. I already had some acne problems, so I very take care with everything I use. I take my breakfast, and then I take my mat (Yoga’s carpet) and do a stretching session. If it is sunny, I do it under the sun and take some D vitamin.
Namita Nayyar:
What motivated you to join the modeling industry? Did it happen to you accidentally or was it a choice made by you?
Gracie Hans:
It was an accident! I’ve never wanted to be a model, even everybody always saying that I should try. I didn’t like to take photos, I was very shy…but I really wanted to leave my hometown (that it is really small) because I felt that I didn’t fit there, I wanted and needed something bigger, I wanted to be part of something, I wanted to fit!
One day, a scouter approached me (who I was already in touch and always running away, lol) along with a booker from Sao Paulo. After they insisted a lot, I have decided to try. I was 14 years old. Months later I was living in Sao Paulo by myself, where I live until today.
Namita Nayyar:
Share the best part of your job you enjoy?
Gracie Hans:
Absolutely! The best part is to have the opportunity to travel, to meet places and people that I would never imagine one day I would have the opportunity to meet.
Namita Nayyar:
Share exercises that are an integral part of your workout routine? Five must-do mornings stretches? Any sport you like?
Gracie Hans:
Usually I work out, do yoga’s class and aerial silks, I love it! I love climbing as well and volleyball.
Namita Nayyar:
Introduce us to a day in your busy life? What’s like a day off routine?
Gracie Hans:
During my busy days, basically I spend all the time in stand up, wearing high heels, changing clothes, lol. I try to make these days, that can be very tiring, the lightest and most cheerful possible. During my off days, I wake up around 8.00 AM, go to gym and spend all day long in the cat’s shelter where I’m volunteer, taking care of them and try to find a home for them.
Namita Nayyar:
Your meal before and after a workout? The secret to maintaining a slim torso.
Gracie Hans:
I think the balance is the key! Usually I work out during the morning. I take my breakfast and go. Pancakes or fruits….and coffee, of course! After my training, vegan protein and depending of the time I lunch. I LOVE to eat! I try to have a healthy meal, but I don’t deprive myself of anything. If I feel like eating pizza, I will eat pizza…but next day I will work out more and have a light meal, like compensation.
Namita Nayyar:
Your Favorite Meal of the day would be? Why?
Gracie Hans:
Veggie burger and fries. Veggie burrito. Veggie strogonoff (Brazilian food). I don’t know why.. I just like it. lol. As I said, I LOVE to eat!
Namita Nayyar:
Top three healthy snack options? One diet secret you would like to share?
Gracie Hans:
I always have an apple with me, because it is easy to carry on, vegan protein and pumpkin seeds because it hasprotein too. I usually eat seeds in all my meals to replace animal protein.
About secret…I don’t think I have one! Balance! Balanced meals, mental balance, spiritual balance…if you are feeling well with yourself, it is not a chocolate or a meal out of your diet that will make you feel worse.

Share your workout during a lockdown?
Gracie Hans:
During the quarantine I’ve been made lighter exercises without pressure. I start with a stretching session and then I do yoga. Sometimes I do some strengthening exercises too.
But no pressure. I’m enjoying this time to relax and less pushing myself.
Namita Nayyar:
Five models that you look up to and why? Brands you would love to work with.
Gracie Hans:
Gisele Bündchen, of course! My biggest inspiration since ever! Our life stories are very similar. We came from the same part of Brazil, we both used to play volleyball when we were young and our dream was to be a veterinary, but we ended as a model. Lol! But beyond that, I admire the person who she is, all her social projects and everything what she does for a better world. Well, she is light and inspiration!

I always wanted to shoot a Calvin Klein campaign, but today I value all the jobs that I do. After so long modeling, my dream is to work every day with people concerned with a better world, who think with causing less negative impact in the world. I’m fan of “slow fashion”, of reuse, of people and clients with conscience that changes are necessary.

Five tips to prepare for a photo shoot.
Gracie Hans:
Eat well the day before, have a light dinner. Sleep well. I like to wake up two hours before, do all my morning rituals with calm. To be thankful and always do my best.
