My Hero Academia is a popular Japanese anime with international acclaim. The fifth season of My Hero Academia is set to release on March 27, 2021. The first four seasons have 13 episodes each, but Season 5 will only have 26 to go with the other years. And since this marks the fifth season, fans are expecting it to be just as long.
Many people are not aware of the anime series “My Hero Academia”, but it is considered a world like ours, where heroes and regular human beings reside. One difference in this series is that Deku Izuku Midoriya, a teenage boy without any unique abilities, goes to school. How old is the protagonist of the series?
How Old is Deku?
Izuku Midoriya is 16 years of age. He was born on July 15, and his zodiac sign is Cancer. Season 1 begins with Izuku being 14 years old after meeting his idol, All Might, and training for 10 months.
When he enters UA, Deku is around 16 years old; which means that by the time of the Forest Training Arc, Deku had to be at least 18. It is also possible to speculate Deku’s age by looking at his Hero License, where it says he will be 16 years old.
Midoriya started his second year in grade school, so he will graduate 3 months before his 16th birthday. Deku is goal-oriented and determined to become a superhero. He did this even before he received All Might’s quirk by practicing other quirks and saving one of his classmates during an incident when he was quirkless himself.
