When it comes to mini-ITX cases the really small ones are typically not sold by the big case companies we know, instead they are sold as “kits” by smaller start-ups etc. Super-small mini-ITX builds are very niche, but NZXT wants to change all of that and make the whole mini-ITX experience easy and effortless, even if you are a first-time builder. Recently, they introduced their H1, which is a 13.6 L mini-ITX case that comes with a built-in 650W 80-PLUS Gold power supply, 140mm AIO liquid CPU cooler, room for 2 3.5-inch hard drives, and even full-size graphics cards. It is pretty impressive what NZXT is able to cram into this case and make it functional as well as easy to build in, let’s take a look!

Special thanks to NZXT for providing us with the H1 mini-ITX case to review.

Packaging

The NZXT H1 comes in a retail box that is not much larger than the actual case itself. On the front there is a picture of the H1, while on the back you have a closer-up view with a little information about the case.

The other two sides of the box have a full list of specifications and features.

Opening the box up we can see that the case is nicely protected by large pieces of Styrofoam and the case is in a plastic bag to make sure it does not get scratched.
