Deputies are investigating two reported Santa Clarita burglaries and an assault at a home belonging to the parents of rapper “Blueface” in Santa Clarita earlier this month.
Around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 11, deputies received reports of a burglary at the home of the parents of Jonathan Porter, better known as “Blueface,” on the 18600 block of Juniper Springs Drive in Canyon Country, said Deputy Natalie Arriaga, spokesperson for the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station.
“We received a call for service regarding a window smash at the home,” Arriaga said. “The parents of rapper Blueface reside at the location and observed two males attempting to enter the location via the smashed window.”
The suspects fled the scene prior to deputies arrival, according to Sheriff’s officials.
The next day, around 2:30 a.m. another call for service was called at the same location in which it was reported four men had entered the home while the parents resided inside, according to Arriaga.
One victim was physically assaulted by one of the suspects when confronted, Arriaga said.
“Two of the suspects also displayed a firearm towards the victim,” Arriaga said. “The victim sustained minor injuries.”
The suspects fled the scene prior to deputies’ arrival and remain at-large.
