The 2022 LCS Spring Split playoff is about to start meaning this split’s All-Pro teams have been announced.
To no surprise, it is the top teams from the regular split, Team Liquid and Cloud9, that got to shine on the first All-Pro team. In fact, the two teams were dominant enough in the voting that no other team was represented. In the second and third All-Pro teams, players from 100 Thieves, FlyQuest, and Evil Geniuses were on the roster.
With both Cloud9 and Team Liquid having played neck-to-neck at the top of the standings during the regular split, the players are now rewarded with some recognition. Liquid is the team with the most spots in the first All-Pro teams, as three of its players got voted in. C9 takes the last two spots, after falling short in the last week of the regular split where it lost the first seed.
Who is on the LCS All-Pro team?
The players represented for Team Liquid are no surprise: bot laner Steven “Hans Sama” Live and support veteran Jo “CoreJJ” Yong-in. In the games that the two have played together, there has been nothing stopping them from carrying at a consistent level. Both are top of their role in the league, which has shown through in the team’s spring split results.
Liquid mid laner Søren “Bjergsen” Bjerg has also made it to the first All-Pro team after coming out of retirement for this split. The Danish veteran hasn’t been the main carry of Liquid so far, but instead been a rock in mid, barely having any bad games.
For C9, it is the jungle and top lane duo that has been rewarded with a spot on the All-Pro team. Top laner Park “Summit” Woo-tae absolutely crushed the votes with 134 points and for good reason. In his first LCS split, he was a menace in the top lane, showcasing why C9 went out and imported him.
Jungler Robert “Blaber” Huang has been an important key for the team throughout the split, which is why he gathered 109 points and qualified for the first All-Pro team. Blaber is a former LCS MVP and continues to play at a very high level.
Worth noting on the second All-Pro team is FlyQuest mid laner Loïc “toucouille” Dubois, an LCS rookie that has been incredible for his team in his first split in a major region. The French talent will soon be entering his first playoffs, where FlyQuest is looking like a serious dark horse.
